WELCOME TO HER WORLD...

PITCH: This generation’s instant cult classic Star Wars and/or Matrix. Think practical magical realism. As if 1990s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles were directed by Akira Kurosawa. This is action fused with philosophy; a new, niche genre: Martial Arthouse— practical effects with minimal CGI!
LOGLINE: In an alternate timeline of our own modern day, gladiators never went out of style. Now, they battle for technocratic entities that shape the dystopian landscape, darkly. Nika Onai, a young savant with the uncanny ability to lucid dream at will, unites with a ragtag group of martial artists to raise hell versus "Thïlïht"—spearhead of a worldwide human trafficking ring, amongst even more egregious evils.
Gold Girl was conceived in 2006 after deep research into real-world modern slavery. As of the most recent U.S. State Department figures, over 27.6 million victims exist internationally at any given time. We need a superhero squad for this kind of shit.
In our algorithmic, post-disclosure, post-Epstein hyperreality, Gold Girl confronts a taboo subject beyond conspiracy and malevolence: how on earth do we create utopia, for real? A film written from the vantage of twin-flame poets out of responsibility, this project represents artistic and philosophical synthesis—a necessary answer to our current state of formulaic, mindless, soulless blockbusters...
This is her war against the "Oldworld." This is Gold Girl.
